First I broke Daddy’s glasses, then I…
Well, I think I upped the ante on my pranks. I broke Daddy’s glasses back in November. That was a good one. But today I figured out how to DELETE all of Mommy’s contacts in her phone! Even the man at the T-mobile store doesn’t know how I did it, and he couldn’t get them back!
Going ball (a.k.a. pumpkin) hunting
Unkie Jon and Auntie Karen wanted to go to the Cal Poly Pumpkin Festival to “pick” pumpkins. It was more like an Easter Egg hunt since the pumpkins were already picked and just strewn about the field in a big game of make believe. Not that I know anything about Easter Eggs other than what I’ve been told. Our friends Jeff and Mary paid a visit to the patch as well.
I only speak one word when not writing this blog. It’s “BALL!” Well, with my limited verbal capacity, I spent the trip yelling “Ball! Ball!” the entire time and directing Daddy to ferry me from one constellation of pumpkins to the next. It was exhausting. I was really cute though, so everyone tolerated my challenged vocabulary. There were even sunflowers along the fence. They hide the road full of cars to perpetuate the pumpkin patch illusion, but Mommy liked them despite their role in the deception.
There was a petting zoo, but I did not pet. I watched from the safe and free side of the fence. There were sheep, ducks, donkeys, ponies, hay and poop. The animals pulled a fast one on the humans though, they structured a deal like a pennies-on-the-dollar, AAA-rated CDO sold to a hapless Harvard-halfwit pension fund manager — you scratch my back — you feed me — I poop on you.

So, my bangs were really getting into my eyes. It was time for a hair cut.Â
I don’t have my own stylist yet, but my mommy’s stylist, Katie, went snip snip snip and it was all over. I didn’t even get to sit in the chair or get my hair washed and massaged.
Ya, I probably wouldn’t have sat still through that.Â
Actually, Katie cut the hair fringes hanging over my ears a few months ago, but that doesn’t really count because I didn’t even know what was happening.
But now, I’ve got flat bangs like my mommy. They’re supposed to be quite trendy (or maybe a year late?)
Don’t I look cute?

I attended a baby shower. I didn’t get wet and it wasn’t for babies (well not born babies). Mommy’s friend is having a baby boy and she got lots of presents and everyone got lots of food.
I also visited my friend Hannah in Orange and went to a street fair. It was hot.
Mommy’s friend Diana’s mother visited. We played and had fun together while Diana and Mommy played on the computer. I think Auntie was exhausted by the end of session. Not many people can keep up with me like Ah-Ma.

I helped Daddy get the clothes out of the dryer. I have to help because if he leaves me alone in the playpen I scream and yell and cry. Now he knows to take me with him all the time.
Father’s Day 2008
I bought Daddy a tie for Father’s Day. Mommy said it’s traditional. Then we mailed a Father’s Day card to Kong Kong (Mommy’s Daddy).

Memorial Day is Watermelon Day. Uncle Jon and Auntie Karen came over for Memorial Day. So did our friends Jeff and Mary. Daddy let me suck on watermelon rind.
